Onventis Among Germany’s Top 5 Software Companies
In the Main Software 50 Ranking 2024, Onventis ranks 5th among the top software companies in Germany. Here, the most outstanding software companies in the industry are honored for their contribution to the digitalization of the German economy. The ranking was initiated by Main Capital Partners, a leading software investor in Germany, the Benelux region, and Scandinavia.
Main Capital highlighted Onventis’ exceptional performance based on key figures that set the company apart from its market peers. Three of these metrics are:
- Cloud revenue: Onventis showed an impressive cloud revenue of 76%, above the overall average of 52% and above the Top 50 average of 58%.
- Recurring revenue: With 76% recurring revenue, Onventis outperformed the overall average of 70% and surpassed the Top 50 average of 73%.
- International revenue: Onventis strengthened its global presence with 79% international revenue, starkly contrasting the industry average of 6% and the Top 50 average of 10%.
Main Capital evaluated hundreds of companies based on seven objective business metrics: Revenue, revenue growth, revenue type (recurring vs. non-recurring), cloud/SaaS-generated revenue, EBITDA, international revenue, and partner channel revenue. The results are verified by the independent research institute Fraunhofer.
