What is the Corporate Sutainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)?
The European Green Deal was launched in December 2019. This Green Deal comprises a package of policy initiatives to make Europe the world’s first ‘climate-neutral continent’ by 2050. The CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) is a directive that plays a central role in the Green Deal, aiming to enhance transparency and improve the quality of sustainability information. It needs to be transposed into national law, with a deadline set for July 2024.
